Illustrating You

Images created live ignites the synergy of the collective "brain" in a group. Graphically Recording that collective thought pulls your team together so that YOU or your company are represented correctly and are on the same page in planning.

Illustrating Your Expertise

Working with authors, professional speakers and trainers, inventors, entrepreneurs and CEO's, I have the extremely rare ability to coach and facilitate initial concepts and product development to creating  book illustrations, presentation cartoons, manual illustrations or trade show banners.

Illustrating Your Potential

In Your Business or Product Development:

"I had this great product idea that came to me while at a concert. I could draw the basic concept but people weren't getting how it could be used in a variety of ways. Shannon was able to take my idea and create a variety of illustrations that I used for capital presentations and product development."

As this inventor and I talked and brainstormed, many illustrations and situations came to my mind of the potential of his product. It was fun to watch this simple idea take form and go from prototype to actual product.

Entrepreneurs are extremely creative people - and it's rare that they only have one idea. Most often there are so many ideas in their head they will become frustrated at which idea to begin with first. Brain drawing for them, puts the various ideas in a visual format which adds to clarity and helps to define the sequence of which idea or concept to pursue first and how they all fit together. The potential of future profits  is made clearer with the added visual of what can be very overwhelming with a prolific entrepreneur.

In companies where effectiveness of employees has taken a dip or where there are clashes in communication, graphic facilitation pulls the brainstorming efforts of board members and management together in a visual representation of their planning which brings instant clarity to missing elements or greater potential that isn't being utilized.

In Your Personal Life:

"I'm going in too many directions!" the woman sat across from me with her hand pressed against her forehead.  "I have a love/hate relationship with just about everything I'm doing, and I just can't keep spreading myself so thin. What do I do?"

I began asking her questions and listening very carefully to what I was hearing - not only in her words, but in between the lines. Pulling up my flip chart we began writing things down and drawing pictures that would have meaning to her. (Schedule yours now)

When we finished, she exclaimed, "I can't believe it! You are amazing! How did you KNOW?"

I love it when people leave my office, or hang up the phone shouting with joy and renewed enthusiasm!

As a Cartoonist, I see and think in pictures - Graphic communication is something that cartoonists and illustrators do. Drawing live while you talk helps you to put the pieces together so that you can see the bigger picture and identify the flow of your thoughts.

A Graphic Facilitation or Graphic Facilitation session usually lasts anywhere from one to three hours, or in some business settings can be an all day or weekend event.
